About EngSim

What is EngSim?

EngSim is an engineering-focused learning environment that provides interactive simulators and calculation tools for students and engineers. The tools are designed to support conceptual understanding, numerical exploration, and visual analysis of engineering systems.

Every simulator runs entirely in the browser. There is no backend, no account, and no data collection. The platform is free to use and intended to remain so.

The platform covers thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mechanics and structures, electrical engineering, and applied chemistry — with new simulators added continuously as development progresses.

Why was it built?

Engineering education often relies on textbook problems that are static and disconnected from real physical intuition. EngSim was created to bridge that gap — making it easy to visualize what happens when you change a parameter, see a Mohr's Circle respond in real time, or watch a T-s diagram update as you adjust cycle conditions.

The simulators reflect real engineering theory — including approaches used in university courses across South America — and are designed to be useful both as learning aids and as quick calculation tools in professional practice.
